My Work

How it Works

  • You get in touch with me and tell us what you want done.
  • I’ll ask you to send us the document to be translated (by e-mail), preferably Microsoft Word Format, Adobe PDF or Plain Text. MS Word is preferred because it makes it really easy to comment and track changes with in the document. Your document is safe with me - you are assured total confidentiality.
  • I’ll check the document (academic papers, etc) and provide you with an estimate, which will be a function of the length of the document and its linguistic complexity. I can send you a partial translation of your document for you to assess, if you wish.
  • When you receive the finished document you can specify changes to be made until you are satisfied with the translation. All these further changes are included in the initial, agreed-on price. We’ll work out methods of payment between us.

Latest Examples of my work

  • From the academic field - I have worked on translating anything from doctorates to term papers; specifically in the ‘soft sciences’ such as the arts, sociology, education and so on. If your subject is jargon-loaded, I will request a glossary of terms, since each discipline develops its own vocabulary, most of which isn’t even in the dictionary.
  • From the business arena - I workwed on business plans, presentation, executive reportsm techincal documentation and more.
  • IT/Internet - I worked translating manuals, product descriptions and website's content. I also frequantly; provide my services edit proofing online content in some cases correcting language phrases and improving grammer; if necessary.
